A little light reading. So, here is a pic of some of the reading that I've been doing lately as I work towards my MA in English, along with some of my favorite "dead white guys." It's been a long, but rewarding process. I've learned a lot and grown academically. The defense is fast approaching. In progress... UPDATE: 8-19-11 It's been several years of hard work, but now it's done. I am officially finished with my graduate program in English! I successfully defended my thesis --Deceivers in the Dark: The Bed-trick in Medieval and Renaissance Texts and Its Implications Regarding Gender, Sex and Power--and I graduated on August 6, 2011. Although I definitely need the extra time to work on developing a curriculum for two new classes, I have to admit that I will miss the mental stimulation of being a student.
