This is where I will be blogging about my thoughts regarding education theory, pedagogy, and responses to professional development activities that I attend. Hopefully, my first post will be regarding Kelly Gallagher's book Readicide. Mr. Gallagher came to my area a few summers ago and I was lucky enough to attend one of his workshops; I really like what he has to say about literacy and making students life-long readers. Recently, I saw that the Michigan Reading Association is hosting an online book club that anyone is welcome to join and participate in via Facebook. You can view the FB page HERE.
